Thematic group on LEADER approach

Thematic group on LEADER approach (GTL) for programming period 2023-2027 was established by the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Brwinów on March 13, 2024. It is a continuation of the group from previous programming period.

GTL is a consultative and advisory organ for the implementation of the intervention I.13.1 Leader / Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) within the framework of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023-2027. The main objective of the GTL is to share knowledge and facilitate cooperation between the entities involved in implementing the intervention.

GTL’s tasks:

  • Improving the process of implementing CLLD strategies in the 2023-2027 programming period,
  • Identification and promotion of good practices, and experiences in the implementation of LEADER intervention, and exchange of experiences among local action groups (LAGs),
  • Strengthening the capacity of people implementing the LEADER intervention,
  • Initiating cooperation and knowledge exchange between those involved in implementing LEADER intervention and the Managing Authority,
  • Identifying partners and projects in partnership, monitoring cooperation and its development.

GTL’s composition:

  • Representative of the Polish LAG Network – Federation of Regional Networks of LAGs,
  • Representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Common Agricultural Policy Department,
  • Representative of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture, Delegates Schemes Department,
  • Representative of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, Department of Regional Programmes,
  • Representative of the Polish Rural Network+,
  • 16 representatives of the voivodship governments,
  • 16 representatives of the regional LAG networks,
  • Representative of the working group on the implementation of the concept of smart villages operating within the framework of the Monitoring Committee of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023-2027,
  • Representative of an NGO working for CLLD designated by the Rural Activation Forum,
  • Representative of an academic institution – Jagiellonian University in Kraków. 

The Chairman of GTL is a representative of Polish LAG Network – Federation of Regional Networks of LAGs.

The meetings of GTL are held at least once a year.
