Generation renewal under RDP 2014-2020
Shaping the rural society, including the encouragement of young people to become involved in farming, has been and is a concern for all European countries. In Poland, where family farms dominate, assistance and support for successors taking over farms on the basis of succession are among the key challenges of the Common Agricultural Policy. Taking over farms and running agricultural production by natural successors should be approached from many different angles, including legal, social, technological and economic. The film presents support instruments under the RDP 2014-2020, which directly brought about the generation renewal of the Polish rural society.

Transfer of knowledge and innovation under RDP 2014-2020
Competitive development and the pursuit of specialisation in Polish agriculture require high-level training in technology, economics and management, as well as an increased capacity to take up and effectively exchange knowledge and information, including through the dissemination of best agricultural production practices and innovative solutions worked out and implemented in agriculture and rural areas. Entrepreneurship in rural areas under RDP 2014-2020
Contemporary transformation in rural areas is characterised by a rapid increase in the social and economic activity of the inhabitants. One important trend is the growing number of Polish non-agricultural enterprises in rural areas. Thanks to support for micro, small and medium enterprises after Poland’s accession to the European Union, conditions were created for the development and diversification of the rural economy. Currently, farms are also changing their profile, introducing new forms of economic activity, mainly services and trade. The importance of non-agricultural entrepreneurship in their income is increasing. The film presents a number of the implemented measures, which directly or indirectly contributed to the development of entrepreneurship in Polish rural areas.
