Technological and product innovation in the production of pork products with enhanced health-promoting properties
The aim of the project is to produce cold meats with high nutritional and dietary value, as well as the desired sensory attractiveness, from the meat of fattened pigs of hybrids of the Polish Great White (WBP) and Polish Landrace (PBZ) breeds.

- Satisfying consumer needs through the supply of ready-made products with health-promoting properties and convenient food features.
- Promoting pork from Polish farms and supporting the domestic market.
Results achieved
- Meeting the needs of consumers through the supply of finished products with health-promoting properties and convenience food features, produced from whole-muscle elements obtained from native breeds of pigs: WBP and PBZ, fattened with non-GMO feed supplemented with inulin and/or probiotics.
- Developing an optimal nutritional solution enabling obtaining meat with improved nutritional parameters.
- Development of a recipe and production technology and implementation of an innovative meat product with health-promoting food values.
- Encouraging the consumption of pork, promoting pork from pigs kept on Polish farms, supporting the domestic market.
- Dissemination of research results nationally and internationally, participation in conferences, information and promotion.
